With almost a century of shipbroking experience, Maersk Broker are today one of the largest shipbroking organisations worldwide, and provide a comprehensive range of shipping services and competencies to top class customers in all shipping centres of the world.

■ Shipbroker Trainee
The Maersk Broker Shipbroker Trainee Programme is a 2-year programme designed to provide trainees with extensive knowledge and sufficient skills within a minimum of two of the essential shipbroking disciplines:
・Chartering
・Sale & Purchase
・Contracting of Newbuildings
・Vessel Financing or Project Broking

The Trainee Programme is a balanced mix of on-the-job learning, coaching and mentoring combined with development of personal skills through both theoretical and practical teaching.
Your traineeship will be supplemented by an expatriation to a Maersk Broker office abroad, and upon graduation you will be offered a career position at one of the Maersk Broker offices globally.

During the first year, Shipbroker Trainees obtain the Foundation Diploma at The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) through tutorship studies.
During the second year of the Shipbroker Trainee Programme, the trainees will take additional courses with ISC.
